Well despite this commercial, I am still prepared to defend myself with a knife since in a violent encounter I want the disparity of force to give me an advantage.
It's not like someone can just "take" a knife from you anyways if you are committed to deffense. I dare you to test this, you and a friend use a marker in place of a knife and see how many times your friend can mark you before you can get it away.
