For a minute I thought, oh god, what if they just let this come out and it was totally an accident that it grooved this hard. Then I thought, oh no, they knew exactly what they were doing.

Saw Gentle Giant with some friends in Rochester many years ago with my girlfriend and some other friends, having driven from around St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Before Rainbow (who preceded Giant!?!- strange match!) and Giant, our friends asked us if we wanted to wander around during the break. We said, nah, then they come back 20 minutes later all thrilled and beaming because they got to go backstage and hang out with the band who were very nice and accomodating- even glad to meet them!
