淚的小花 was recorded with Mandarin lyrics in 1968 originally by 陳芬蘭 for the movie "淚的小花" in 1969 starring 關山, 陳芬蘭, 紫蘭 and 李芷麟. 淚的小花 originated as a Korean song (韓國歌) and was later readapted into a Japanese song, too by 胡美芳 into "淚の小花" (レイダシャオホア). However, 陳芬蘭 was not highly successful popularizing (通俗化) this song. In 1969, 青山 retrieve fame for singing this song, as was from then thought to have sung this extremely popular song. Other versions live that are from 1969, including 姚蘇蓉 (藍色的雷夢娜) and 謝雷 (青春鼓王). In 1970, there was 馮素波. And in 1972, there were 葉麗儀 and 劉家昌. 陳芬蘭's version came in 3 parts lyrics, however, later it was cut into 2 part lyrics by 青山 ~ occasionally using the 3rd part of the song as the 2nd part. In addition, 陳芬蘭 also differs in some lyrics in 1st verse. Lyrics were written by 慎芝.

Thanks for posting this great song by her...... Please post "Besame Mucho" if anyone has it. She used to sing this Spanish song regularly wearing glamourous long gown and feather boa in the early 70's. She left quite an impression!!!
