@theenigmajjames Seether's music appeals so strongly to me, IMO, because it evokes the deep emotional content & essence of the 90's era sound & lyrical content that I still enjoy. I hate the stupid herd mentality that seems to have overtaken the majority of the population! Hopefully, more people will begin to break out of that monotonous existence & exercise some freedom of though & expression.

@43neverletitgo I agree with you completely! Kids today do not seem to be capable of independent thought, they seek only what is most "popular" & that includes a majority of pop culture that appeals to the lowest common denominator, promoting a mindless, vapid & shallow mindset. Very sad. Perhaps we will begin to witness a backlash & some kids will try to break out of the mob mentality they are trapped in--I hope!

@43neverletitgo I couldn't agree more .todays music is shit mostly ...I mean what the fuck happened to real heartfelt lyric or guitar driven music? ...it sure isnt around very much today ..Im 29 and to me the best of our generation was the 90's ...there was so much good music going on ...especially the early to mid 90's ...I dont know what the fuck happened in the 2000's .///people just stopped caring about good music and opted for this mindless bullshit ...flash in the pan shit. makes me sad

@eastcoaster187 Personally, i feel that kids today are not as exposed to rock music than in previously. when you turn on mtv or another music channel all that you see is either pop junk that will not be around three months from now. Today the whole music scene is pretty much disposable, its just filling a void. and alot of kids want to be "cool" so they go out and buy what they see on tv or what they see their friends doing. which is sad to see that not much free thinking is involved.
