The sun finally made an appearance in the sky today, a mere 10 minutes before sunset. Up until today I thought we were in for some "The Day After Tomorrow" type stuff. You know, the whole snow covered doomsday, no sun, aliens taking over the planet to enslave the entire human race, only to be stopped by the compelling protagonist, played by Will Smith, as he fights the alien king in a climactic high-stakes laser powered sword fight where the winner wins control of the other sentient being's entire species? Remember? No? Yeah, I have never actually seen that movie. I just remember it was cold and cloudy in the previews, so the resemblance in the montage is there.
