Most likely answer is either a kid with a .22 or maybe some ricocheting shrapnel from a real bullet, but I'm inclined to agree that a real sniper round would take her hand off

@chadvipe2 Again, a shot from a sniper rifle doesn't wound. A shot from a pistol can kill. A shot from a sniper rifle rips apart.

It was not a bullet, and when a russian solider wanted to kill her, she would be dead ;), it was a fake or a shrapnel.

the most likely weapon was prbably the russian SV-99 rifle it is a 22lr bolt action rifle with a silencer that the russians adopted to use in urban combat because the 22lr could be easily silenced given the small wound and the absence of an audible gun shot that is my best conclusion i can think of

A sniper shot would've blown her arm off.. No way was this a sniper shot. And if sniper DO shoot, they usually shoot for the kill. And they rarely miss. (in wars.)

what the hell type of ammo are they using over there, .22 lr ? if it was the standard .308 or bigger she probably wouldnt have a hand. it was probably a kid with an air rifle in the bushes somewhere.
