Not too bad, flounders a little...

I guess if you are very stoned this will be amazing, I like it but only cos I love the original.

I'm a huge fan of the original (naturally) but I also really like Weezer and don't begrudge them for this. The instrumentals are everything I could ever hope for and more. Sick as hell in fact and I'm really loving the grunge revival feel and don't get me started o the drums! However the vocals are just...meh.

Love Talk Talk version so much...

Talk Talk have been on my play list since their beginning, seen live in Pgh, PA in the early 80's. Covers can be brilliant and junk. Weezer owns this and creates a GREAT feeling, gives me the same chills as the original does and what of the other attempts to cover this? All end up on the junk side, just painful to even hear them played. just sayin'

no negatives here, wow, the fact that the boys covered this delicious song and gave it a new breath of life is refreshing with all of the bullshit that counts as music now

I'm as hardcore as the next Talk Talk fan out there, but I disagree with most comments and give props to Weezer for their interpretation. I'll also listen to the original til the day I die, but if there is anything I take away from being blessed with knowing Talk Talk, it's an openness to experimental evolving tastes.

an 80's band called Talk Talk. They also originally did "It's My Life"...which Gwen Stefani covered and then turned into a teenage-girl anthem
