Early in 2005, Akus performed this beautiful Christian song written by guitarist Ron Block. As of 2009, Alison has won 26 Grammys, so she has not only won more than any other woman, but only needs 6 more to be the owner of more Grammys than any other person, period. And she is so young.

@lilcre4te I am really glad that this song ministers to you. However, I sense that you are a baby Christian not yet familiar with the Bible. Matt 10:34-38 "Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth...Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." Jesus first, then others. Standing for Him brings hatred from those who don't.

@MrOmarrocks I can't imagine the pain of losing a child. I have had tragedy in my life that's shaken my faith and caused me doubt. Not in the belief of God but in the belief that He keeps His promises. I'm in a bible study called "Lord, Change My Attitude" by James MacDonald. I want to get my faith back to where it use to be... strong. I highly recommend this study. God bless you.
