  • What made you go with the crab claw rig? How does it compare with other more standard rigs?

  • Is this design improvised? I've not seen two kayaks used to sail before, but looks effective. Essentially the same as using an outrigger, I guess...

  • i just use a golf unbrella but it works

  • Well done!

  • Great video.I have the 1.5 sq/m PA sail and it ROCKS! Was wondering how you keep the kayaks attached together?

  • nice one-great vid

i built my v sail by cutting out the back of a summer beach tent

works splendid on my valley nordkapp

gotta keep the paddle brace there though

  • Splendid!

  • I have the 1.5 sq/m PA sail and it's wonderful on my 13 foot SOT. I've GPS'd 5.56 knots and I know I've gone faster than that on days it was just too windy to fool around with the Garmin. I really can't say it enough... if you have a kayak and have decent winds, you really should get a sail of some sort.
