This is an old version. Valve wasn't satisfied with the game at this point, so they completely remade the game. And it was released later in 1998.

Fast forward: The music in this trailer is heard in the opening helicopter ride in Opposing Force.

And that there where actually aliens from HL1 in HL2.

if i saw this commercial before i heard anyone say this is the best game ever or even played Half Life i wouldnt have a good impression on getting the game because this commercial kinda sucks
it only shows one weapon it looked slow paced with no challenge and some of these creatures dont look that inventive but when the game actually came out i still call it the best game ever
