  • r u playing this off sheet music?

  • @Amber7Grant yep, it's a tough one to memorize. There is no meter and few melodic memorable moments. :)

  • any tips on playing this, casey?

  • stay low and watch the phrasing. the score is very dense, which is both a strength and weakness; you want to represent everything on the page without making it sound busy and/or out of control. keep your dynamic window as wide as possible. the piece is very technical; i'd spend a lot of time outside of the piece building your facility. short answer, but hope it helps. enjoy! :)

  • where can i buy this piece i mean can i buy it by steveweiss, sam ash etc..or its just available in your website? a really want to play this but im not from US

  • hey, you can buy the piece from my website. Glad you like it!

  • wow...you miss the point completely. They're totally different things. You should think about why you listen to something. Consider form and composition, not just how many tricks or fast licks they can squeeze in.

  • poor technique?? you gotta be kidding me. his technique looks good to me although i'd rather use matched grip instead of traditional but that's a matter of taste i guess.

  • At risk of being labeled a troll:

are you possibly interpreting the septuplet flam-tap figure at @1:41 (the top right of page 4; the end of the swiss-army-triplet seciton) too fast in this video?

It's a tricky passage to learn~ the septuplets should continue at the same speed as the swiss army triplet immediately before them, but the accented flam taps yeild a two quarter note triplets (i think) which are throwing me for a loop...

  • What type of snare is that? a piccolo?

  • @HeyItsHoss i wanna see you play it ;)

  • dammmm why is your snare drum so small? or is it just the angle of the camera

what brand is it too thx

  • Excellent man, do you have the partiture??

  • @pareira1001

you are a moron, go back to jacking off over DCI videos and leave this for REAL percussionists, and get this, I march DCI

  • Pfff this guy is good!

  • Great technique....Wish all drummers would learn the correct tradiional style..I like rock but too many drummers just beat the drums, they don't play the drums...

    Very nice !!!

  • @CaseyCangelosi
