This story for some reason has fascinated me since I first heard of it.

That is incredible for anyone to survive in the Andes for 72?
-
@loljeck That would be "Alive" amigo. Not the greatest of movies but based on a fantastic story
-
i don't know what it is called but thubs up if you have seen the movie of this

Their Rugby team was called the Old Christians, the first person to find them after their ordeal was a Sheppard. Who, just happened to have some bread, Cheese and pencil and paper to throw to the boys who wrote a note telling their saga and asking "where are we?". For those that don't believe in God, I know there is NO DOUBT what the survivors would say. This story is one of true triumph and is meant to teach you how great life really is, every second of it.

oh p.s. theres a MUCH better doc. about this from the discovery channel called>I AM ALIVE> much much less campy
-
god I love this narrator's voice

Who gives a shit about ethnicity. I'm a Spanish speaker and would have not minded at all if instead of being the Andes of Argentina, they would have used the Rockies of USA. You didin't expect Russell Crowe to speak Latin in Gladiator, did you?

Why does sound cut out at 2:40?
Pure balls. I think it's pretty clear who would have won the rugby match had there been no plane crash.

southphilly, i'm pretty sure the movie alive was aimed more at telling the heroic story and less concerned with ethnicity, it was aimed at an american audience dumbass
