The reality is simple, strikers are judged by goals. If he's not scoring goals then he's not doing his job. Fernando Torres' role at Liverpool was a goal scorer, and that's why Chelsea bought him. Not to get 11 assists and 3 goals, if someone had told Abromavich that after one year those would be the numbers I assure you that he would not have spent 50mil on him.

These are the kind of videos where you can actually judge Torres performances. Yes he should have scored but the guy is working really hard for the team and making a lot of good runs and his dribbling is getting much better too. He gets 2 chances to score in the entire match- one was stopped by a world class save and the other a miss which a torres on form and with confidence would bury 9 times out of 10. If he can get one piece of luck and score im sure he will be back to his best in no time!
