@Bjtm72198 he was letting it go and spring back & that's exactly what it is, you could tell by the way the dash lights would go blank in the middle of cranking and come back on while in the on position, it's a common problem on older honda's ... and he didn't say it was a starter, clearly reads ignition switch.

it sounds like you were turning on the car and shutting it off so it could not be a starter

i just upload a video about my ignition problem with a honda accord...sometimes the key will not come out at all. the part was on the recall list and replaced but the replacement part is faulty

Okay loook at 0:03 .......when you start it...the D4 gear button lights up for a second when your in park....my accord does the same thing...i wanna know why it does that???

@kamranm3 no I didn't have to change my key after they fixed it, all my old keys still worked
would the car stop while running? I think i have the same problem

yes - that was the first symptom - it would stall out.

yes - the switch is a honda recall - they will replace it for free - jim
