12 minute spitfire dogfight

This is my first video (well, almost) from WWIIOL. I'm in a Bf109G-6 and encounter an enemy plane. The entire dogfight lasts more than 12 minutes but I accelerate time here and there to fit it within the 10-minute constraint by youtube :P Can't believe how bad I am at flying :) Enjoy... This is reencoded as xvid in 1280x720 even though the source is 960x600 (half dimensions of 1920x1200).

@f50koenigg Hi! There are no AI pilots/planes in Battleground Europe. It was a human player, but you can't find out who until you check your stats after you have end your mission.

@f50koenigg Yes, I'm using Saitek X52 with throttle and pedals. There are better alternatives but this is what I got. If you don't know about the game you should check it out.

That spit was very lucky to survive that first 30 seconds of the fight and that 30mm hit. I bet he was a bit messed up but he seemed to be performing well enough to make the fight last. I am guessing it was a Spit Vb. Well flown, you dominated the fight.

cause i am not bad at flying but i just dont feel comfortable looking around using the POV-stick >.<

@warspitejr Sure. Try it out at battlegroundeurope com . If you want easy mode play allied, if you want a challenge and you are masochistic play axis :)

Man I miss this game. I used to play under the username "Sparta12" and I haven't been able to resub in over a year for a few reasons.

I used to play Allies with the 101st Squad and even though I had been assigned to the ground element of the Squad I would always grab a fighter whenever I had the chance. I usually would get ambitious during my dogfights, presenting myself as bait before going into a dive and giving the 109/190s a chase so I could trick them into getting in front of me.

lol had to be a private, that spit can out turn your 09. Real nice job on that stall though. AT first i thought you edited the fading out in the pull out to save the audience from witnessing the crash. But it was you blacking out.. Nice video.
