@intothetopcorrupt I've been in the music business for years, and even though it might not seem so; Their music is really hard to play live. I guess they weren't thinking of a live set when they recorded it. But trust me they did a great job playing it live trying to make sure it sounded similar to the album version. I can see why you would think so though.

@allnightpancakes They were playing a gig in Vegas, and were walking in front of the former Barbary Coast hotel after the gig. They were covered in fake blood, wearing ridiculous leather outfits, and of course back then Michael Ivins' hair looked like a wig, leading a passerby to comment "Look! It's Halloween at the Barbary Coast!".

@hippiesmurphy Are you referring to me? I've been listening to the Lips for almost 20 years. I don't need to do research. I got ears. I'm a huge Drozd fan and am well aware of all his talents...but that doesn't mean I got blinkers on. What I said is absolute fact. The song is played significantly too fast and Drozd did this quite regularly in the 90'sduring live performances. An open mind helps in this life as do open ears when listening to music.

the drums are far too loud, the guitars disssonant sounds don't really work, but the main problem is the overpowering drums, if he sang it a bit softer it might be called a piece of music. this is just a petty imitation of some butthole surfers song, but without any real understanding of music, it doesn't really work nor does it copy anything. I'm happy they didn't make it for a while, it's incredible they ever did. They're truly terrible
