  • @Rssnkgp02 The spinning she mentioned is very misleading, it is not spinning. It just change of state at each Protein subunit. It would be waste of energy if the whole helicase is spinning...

  • Interesting. I wonder how one knows that the helicases aren't themselves spinning around the DNA strand as part of the unwinding mechanism...
