This segment is part and preview of "Mutiny on the Rings I"

Mutiny on the rings presents a footage of a Nike commercial with Bruno Angelico - never released before.

Nike came to see Bruno Angelico in 2002 intrigued by the performance.
Bruno recalls "I remember when M Weller Jones and Marie Foley producers from Nike in Oregon came to see me.
They said "We dont' know exactly what to do with this, there is absolutely no market for us yet but we think this is really cool. We'll put this as an alternative extreme sport. There is something there we don't know exactly what it is, but we never saw anything like this before.""

This version was an Industrial movie shot on film support with a Panavision Film camera. The film had a grain with an amazing quality to it (lost in youtube video transfer) giving a vintage look to the piece.

The camera was steady and too heavy to be hand held. The sand was also a major risk consequently the frame was fixed - zooming in and out of focus.
"I had to stay in that central frame to dance with the rings - not too low not too high"
They finally took a chance to put the camera below the structure below my swing but the result was not as cool as expected."
The footage aged a bit but it is almost old school new style on the T- rings now.
It was released in Nike and Foot Locker stores.

The project was supposed to be re-edited and maybe re-shot to be released on TV and theaters but negotiations within Nike marketing department failed.

@solidacid1337 You just don't know how hard this shit is! If you had put your hands on those rings you'd never say that. back then no one in the world was even close to keep up with Bruno. And still today he is god on those rings. the new ringers have a hard time to catch up with him. Everyone tried stuntmen, cirque du soleil, parkour dudes.
