Hello!
Voilà un cover de "Power of equality" des Red Hot Chili Peppers.
J'ai retiré la piste de la basse originale, donc le seul son de basse que vous entendrez provient de la mienne! ^^
J'ai reçu ma toute nouvelle basse aujourd'hui, alors voilà une petite vidéo! C'est une Musicman Stingray de 1993, mais qui est dans un état vraiment impécable!
Parcontre comme les cordes sont neuves je me suis assez éclatés les doigts avec tous ces slides je dois dire (Me suis entrainé sur cette musique et Give it away toute la journée) :P
Pour ceux qui se demandent comment je fais pour me payer ces basses, je passe mes vacances à bosser en entreprise.. donc y'a pas de secrets ;)

Hey!
This is a bass cover of "The Power of Equality" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I took off the original bass track, so you will hear only one bass sound, which comes from my bass ! ^^
Today I received my new bass, a Musicman Stingray from 1993 in really good shape!
I just totaly hurt my fingers, because I spent my day practising on this song and Give it away, and because of the slides and the new strings, my fingers didn't appreciate the effort ^^
For those who ask how I can afford this kind of bass, it's called "work" ! I worked a lot during my holidays to buy this expensive bass, and voilà !

Think of this if you will: Playing Fleas bass lines as excellently as David does will leave anyone saying WOW. Now think of the mind that can produce such sounds and bass lines.... do you feel the wind knocked out of you?

@elPianoforte I guess with advanced improvs, but he's certainly not doing that. If you know a scale and what key the song is in, it's easy. In fact, my piano teacher made me do that when I'd been playing for about 2 years.

@cursedswordsman really, i've been studying music for 11 years, and even having huge knowledges about theory and harmony it's NOT easy, at all.

Apart from that, i have to say i've never heard a killer tone like this. it's truly amazing.

@nuke97 To be fair, it's just chordal improvisational. If you know music theory, you can add some cool things to it. Flea does this himself all the time too in concert.
