is this game start you off with a wepon of your choice or do u have to run around and pick them up

Depends... You can play custom games and the host can choose spawn weapons/combos... During matchmaking there are set weapon spawns... different gametypes etc... Long Story short, its not like COD where you dictate what weapons you spawn with.....
