This all new 2008 Chevrolet Malibu is getting rave reviews and is being preferred over the much ballyhooed Camry and Accord.

The Malibu just topped Camry and Accord in the JD Powers 2008 Initial Quality Study !!!!!!! Neither Camry or Accord made the top 3 !!!!

  • CHEVY > jap shit. all day.

  • I love my Malibu, but its kind of weird, mine has a 3.5L V6 not the 3.6L!!! somehow...i can not find any information about it, im very happy with my car, but i just dont understand why i got a 3.5L lol

  • Geo were reliable cars

i heard GM were selling Toyota Corollas at the GM lots at one

Buy American buy a Pontiac Vibe or a Chevy AVEO

  • Great car. Definitely trumps the Camry. The 08 Accord still competes very well with this car though.

If I were getting a mid-sized sedan it would be between the Malibu and the Accord.

They need a Malibu coupe to compete with the Accord coupe.

  • The new Malibu is a great looking car compared to the dowdy new Accord and Camry. I don't know what is up with Honda design lately, but after seeing the CR-V, Accord, and now the '09 Pilot, somebody needs to be fired.

The Malibu won't overtake the Camry or Accord in sales this year, but give it time.

  • Very nice car! GM now has a decent sedan to compete. I might buy a 2LT with the six speed auto though... next year.
