@bayandsl The 60GB is the only official model that will play PS2 Games. these were then replaced with the 40gb, 80gb etc by Sony. I still have mine from the launch date here in NZ and still going strong and play PS2 games on it without any probs. What you could do is maybe find a 60gb model, clone the HDD to a 320 or 500gb HDD and swap this out if you are wanting more space. I have heard of people doing this and they have done it without any issues.

can somebody help me? i have downloaded ps2 system data and i also created ps2 internal memory card but i still cant play ps2 games on my ps3.. my ps3 is 320gb HDD :(

I did buy it myself, and i did accomplish some things by disassembling it.
And yes, if i had lack of knowledge (like you it seems) i wouldn't have opened it, but i do know WHAT i am doing with it.
