@bowmaker11 It is "we"/"people" who stood by. God has stored up wrath for those who do such things but this life is not the end for us. He gave us "choice".

If he were to move on the wicked/unrighteous, right now, this entire world world would be destroyed. God is anything but indifferent to the suffering of these little ones.

As the video says, God works through "his body", "his church".

It is the church who has lost sight of what God has called us to.

@prodigal1978 Compassion fatigue. Or did you tithe enough of your life to others suffering? In war they have to constantly replenish the front lines. Same in the Kingdom. Just saying. @RainmanE350 , I have to explain something that maybe you don't understand. On average a person in the United States is offered Jesus in some form 346 times a year, and Denies Him each time. More than once a day they deny Jesus & Christianity. However, in countries in the Middle East, India, And Asia, there are people groups that have never even heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, do not know that their Savior came so that they may have life with Him. That is why we GO to Liberia, and India.

@RainmanE350 , I cannot disagree with you more good sir. Those in Appalachia, Detroit, New Orleans, Flint, Pontiac, East LA etc are far more wealthy than the squaller of those living in 3rd world countried. I have sent the last 8.5 years of my life in these countries and have seen the depraved conditions. My Bible tells me that those who have been given much, all the more is expected of them and to go out and make disciples of all nations. America is expected to have a mission field.

When will US based missions begin to see the needs in Appalachia, Detroit, New Orleans, Flint, Pontiac, East LA etc? Do we need to go to Liberia or India?

Father, In the name of Jesus open up the eyes of our hearts and give us a spirit of wisdom, and of revelation in the knowledge of you that we may have the strength with power through you Spirit to understand this Love. We know you laid down your life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the church worldwide. Empower us to open up our hearts with the gifts you have already given us, to live for the people hurting everyday. Let us not love in word or talk, but in deed and in truth. Amen.

@clgal220 being in a body. More accuratly than pain would be the word desire. Its a desire that cannot be satisfied unless it is in a body that has the 5 senses. Children of the light have the same spirit, except its desire is towards God, and he fills our desires. Children of darkness search and search for something to fill them, but they can never find it. Which brings to mind Jesus saying "drink from my cup, and you will never thirst again." Hope this helps =)
