@beuford00 The highest mountain on the east coast of the US is Mt. Mitchell in NC, which is taller than Mt. Washington.

My husband was in the Navy for 23 years so we have lived all over America and I've seen most of it. I'm glad you have seen so much of it already as you are an exception to the rule.

LOL...poor poor Jibbie wibbie. He never had a chance.
Have you actually travelled through America seeing YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK or the GRAND CANYON or the GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTAINS? How about THE LIBERTY BELL in Philadelphia or the MORGAN HORSE FARM in VERMONT run by the University or MIAMI BEACH? Try seeing America.

I've hiked to the top of Mt Washington, highest mountain in the east coast and home of the WORLDS STRONGEST WINDS, 237 mph. I drive down as many dirt roads as i can find. Excitement for me is a full tank of gas and roads i've never been on. i've driven past the st. louis arches, spent hours and hours and days passing through the central plains. I've walked Rodeo drive of Hollywood.

I've hiked above 10,000 feet and slept without a tent or sleeping bag on a mountain with glacial snow and ice. Drank local beers in San Jose. I've stood in awe of Niagra Falls. From both sides. I've climbed the rock faces of New Hampshire. I've relished the conversation of rednecks from the south to city slickers of the NorthEast. I've gone through the winding hilly s-turn roads in San Fransisco.

I've explored the subways and alleys of New York City. Understand firsthand why Chicago is called the Windy City. I was born in Newark, NJ and have been lost in the bad parts of Camden, NJ. I've driven from Jersey to Florida. to Maine. From the Atlantic Ocean all teh way across to Oregon. Drove up the majority of California. And i can't wait to drive through more of it.

and i could go on forever here.
So Jibbie49, i understand your offense to another American going to Europe and speaking of beauty rathe than taking the time to look for it here, but before you tell me to "try and see America" - Ask me first.
Because i have.
Now SHUT THE FUCK UP.
