  • LOL I enjoyed your replies Bruce - typical Aussie excuses and more Pom bashing to make you feel better. Some of you lot should learn to take defeat and a little rib tickling with some good grace and a sense of humour.

  • See you on 31st of 2009!

  • And sorry...didn't mean to post that 2x. Didn't realise individual responses go straight to the top...:-s

  • Billybobtanner, GB did have a good olympics, no doubt. BUT...cobber, it took 4 - count them - FOUR countries to beat Australia. And if we want it to be England v Australia in gold medals, well, England: 13 v Australia: 14. Another version of the typical arrogance of poms really, taking credit for work not totally their own...

  • And given it took 4 countries combined to actually beat Australia, kinda shows something, doesn't it??? Besides, Australia has no gripe with Scotland, Wales & N.Ireland. Like many other countries, England believes it to be better naturally. Well, breaking it down, England won 13 gold medals...Australia won 14 gold medals. Beaten again...cobber...

  • Why did they add such shitty music. good fire works though.

  • HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes, but seeing as 12 of your 19 gold medals were won in sports that involve sitting down throughout the entire event, its fair to say that england isn't really as 'athletic' as a lot of other countries.

too bad theres not an olympic event for soccer hooligans :)
