I think lack of teaching ability, subject knowledge or disdain for kids would make a poor teacher.
Having interviewed Drs. Gentile & Barrett for several hours each, I would be delighted to have them teach my teenage daughters physics...or calculus...or chemistry.
Deep subject knowledge, 20 yrs of leadership experience, a desire to share knowledge & a love of children - well that's a pretty good combination.
