  • Lane Davies did so much in this drama but they didnt give him a prize. It was so unjustice ((

  • @Qumru I read an interview with him recently where he stated that he never put himself in contention for an Emmy, so there's your answer- he was never on the ballot.

  • I just noticed that Bridget snubs A Martinez while making her way to the stage.

  • Robin Mattson is just so damn cute in this clip.

  • JFP RUINED THIS SHOW...as she has several others. UGH!

  • @Wht4BlkNC Actually, Paul Rauch (and eventually Pam Long) ruined the show. JFP was fine and "got" what SB was all about.

  • @lol365 Bridget Dobson is brilliant I totally agree.

  • @juniorz1 Yes I know about that, I read that interview too but I think that the people or judges of Emmy could nominate him couse he deserved to have an Emmy too, at least an Emmy. It was really very unjustice that he left without it.

  • Jill Phelps looks like she wants to strangle Bridget Dobson. I hear the Dobsons were absolutely brilliant, but a very eccentric and dramatic couple.

  • Say what you will about the producers, the cast of Santa Barbara certainly got along with each other. Look at those hugs!

  • Santa Barbara was an incredible soap opera because practically the entire cast were astonishingly creative & utterly passionate. This is what all television needs, in short.

  • There's clearly tension between them here. The way she looked at JFP during the "ALL OF US-SHARE THIS!" was very telling. And knowing what we know about JFP now, she loves those Emmys and even more than that, she loves her Emmy speeches.

So, no, there may not have been this sweaty race to the finish line, but there was clearly tension between Bridget and JFP. Look at the way Carruthers and the other guy(Steve Kent?) were staring at them at the podium.
