A creature from Classic Who makes it return in episode 12 (Closing Time) This is a must see for all new and classic fans of the show. Nice history lesson too...

  • I'm holding out for a Cybermat toy sometime in the near future.

  • @diehippie9000 These are the classic era Cybermen. They're from Mondas, not alternate Earth. Granted, they're not using the older design, but even in the classic series, that design went through changes. All of them are really tacky, compared to what they can do now. The new design, but without the Cybus Industries logo, works much better. What makes them Mondas Cybermen is their story, but a tinfoil jumpsuit. The later would just make them silly.

  • @brownie2794 My own take on why the conversion failed even though we heard the whirring blades is that the machinery is so old, it's pretty much hit-or-miss as to when or even if it works. The main cyberman tried to stop the Doctor from using his sonic screwdriver to activate the teleport to no effect. He and all of the rest of the cybermen looked pretty beaten-up to me; I would think it would be just a matter of time before their old, spare parts incrementally stopped working.

  • I think the reason Craig wasn't killed was to show the Doctor that even though he thinks he destroys everything he touches, the reality is quite the opposite. This man is knowingly going to face death in a matter of days. It's vital for him to know that his time was not a waste. I do agree that Craig getting out of the clutches of the Cybermen by the power of love was a tad cheesy, but at the same time I'm also glad that he didn't die, for the Doctor & Elfie's sake.

  • Closing time, every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end <3

  • 02:33 the cybermen sound awesome

  • @BowserTheSecond OMG Reall? Where's that then? :)

  • And I was right, they ARE making a Cybermat toy!

  • @DWMusicVideos Not just the twenty mini ones, but also a life-sized electronic one coming out in October!

  • @BowserTheSecond it's coming out. 20 in a pack.
