In honor of International Women's Day 100th anniversary on March 8, 2011, we celebrate a century of hard fought for achievements, advances and successes which have brought us to this moment in time. From Suffragette to Social Networker, when we look down to see the broad shoulders of the Women who hold us up, we can appreciate how far we've come. And when we look ahead to the Women and children who still need a hand, we see how far we have to go.
One Woman - that's all it takes to set it in motion - here we thank 100 of those Women and look to the future.

Caring for women is a private and personal thing so I think International Women’s Day should be scrapped.
When special education is being publicised it loses its magic and its profound meaning.

Is there a list of the women featured on this video? I recognize most of the recent additions, but would love to be able to research many of the women in the beginning of the video. Better yet, a version with the names subtitled would be perfect. Thanks!

Mothers and Grandmothers, please, I urge you, talk with your daughters and grand-daughters about the achievements of women over the last century 1911 - 2011.
It's an event to C E L E B R A T E across the globe.
