  • The term Fakebook does that mean its kindof cheat music because of the Chord Symbols listed!

  • @pianomanmaestro Yes - it is called fake book because you can fake it...instead of looking at complete sheet music, you can just read the melody lines and use the left hand chords.

  • I bought her 'Hymn arrangements' and 'Christmas arrangement', they are very good, this old songs will always be the best

  • @luigiperso Thanks for giving our piano courses a try. Glad you like them!

  • Great ideas. Wonderful videos. New sub here. I love how you improvise so creatively. You are so articulate and explain things so excellently. My problem in playing is HOW and WHEN to do rubatos. Without them, you're simply playing notes. And that's basically what I do; play notes. And it doesn't sound much like muic. I wish you could make a video about rubatos. Also, how to practice a fast piece. I practice tempo, and I know that's wrong, but I have difficulty practicing slowly.

  • @TheLovelyPiano Thank you. Making music takes time. The process is like someone learning to sing a song - at first, it will just be singing the notes and lyrics. Once the melody and lyrics sink in, the singer will be able to express freely.
