  • I guess the similarities are kind of interesting then. Comparing a light colorful video about the imagination to a dark dull video about drugs. Both can have their dragons that need slaying for different reasons depending on how far you want to look into it.

  • this is actually pretty good.. BUT it reminds me waaaaay to much of can't stop and otherside :S othewrwise good ! :D

  • I guess it's good that it fits in with 2 of the best RHCP music videos then. Lol. Though I think the Otherside comparison is a stretch. The tone and visual style are very different. Cant Stop, I can see with the peanuts and the industrial location, but I think this has enough other stuff to make it stand on it's own. The video is about using your imagination on cardboard, and cardboard boxes need packing peanuts. And where would you find a big stash of cardboard boxes? In a warehouse.

  • Dude, your gona win. Id try to fix the audio tho, it sounds like its being played through a fliter or something.

  • The bad audio is just for this compressed web version. It's a side effect of the compression settings I used.

  • Very good! The use of light was very clever. Specially the blue light gave a nostalgia mood to the guitar solo. In the beginnig the story was very clear and we could folow the character. But in the end I was a bit lost between the characters, the backstage reality and the sequence of eventes. But maybe that is what you wanted to do, right? Ah.. nice choreography with the black hats.

    Best one I've seen.

  • Yeah, it was supposed to get more abstract towards the end. I wanted the video to be able to break out of its narrative boundaries and just flow with the music, using the behind the scenes shots to make it more personal and real. I basically wanted to start the story and let it go wherever it wanted to go. When a song picks up with energy it's hard to force it to go in a certain narrative direction.

  • chili peppers 'sweded?' crazy shit man, i like it.

  • I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed this when it came out. I'm glad I came back to it.

  • This one is actually worth watching all through the end, instead of all the other shit ones that you turn off after 2 seconds. Good work.

  • So exciting. Even with all the other entries in, I still think this one is the best MUSIC VIDEO of them all. Other videos have an interesting narrative, but no real insight into the song or thought put into what the images on the screen mean.

This one is still on the top of my list.

  • Haha - this is pretty good! That and Satoshii's cell-shaded type one

  • This has GOTTA be the winner! Seriously, you ROCK! This is true RCHP style, well done!

  • i like the video but your audio sounds scratchy

  • this is the best no doubt, and cactuskev comes in 2nd place!

  • this is cool. Made me laugh:)

  • man... it'll be tough to rival this :P
