I really don't catch the purpose of this demo. 4400 bucks to show us a 7-second trip? Then the rest (a supposed proof of truth-ness) is just some weighing and dismounting a questionable device... Is it a joke? 4 bottles of 1.5 liters SHOULD GIVE something like... 6kg... I suppose. Fascinating! It's right!
never seen a boring demo of how much bottles of water (1liter~1kg) a pretty heavy aluminium (just a guess) device could support. Fantastic payload... annoying video. next step? Drink the water

The multirotor was not design for this competition, it was designed and built 5 years ago. And yes the frame is wery heavy; it was overengineerd.

its a video made for a competition.. one of the rules is that the payload is carefully weighted, battery brand is shown and all in 1 single recording without editing.. the dismounting of questionable device what you call it are the batterys. (i didnt see any questionable device, i guess you mean the batteries).
those have to be the ones the sponsor sells.. of course for marketing of their brand.
search for beerlift (thats the name of the competition) and you will find hundred more of those vids
