  • I know that this is not on topic perfectly. What album and when did nirvana put out Half the man I used to be? I am aware of the STP chorus on the song creep, but I know I have heard Kurt sing this shit, and the song was definitely solid quality. There seems to be a huge discrepancy online over this, and I can not find the answer anywhere.

  • @OneLoveSmile The song is actually called "Creep" and Nirvana never covered it, ever. The versions mislabelled as a Nirvana song are just the Stone Temple Pilots track from their album Core.

  • It wasn't Courtney or the music industry that killed him. He was just a lost soul who wasn't long for this world. He suffered from depression and stomach ailments, as well as an unhappy childhood after his parents divorced. There was no peace in this life for him. Some people are just terminally unhappy.

  • People ask me what the matter is ALL THE TIME! i hate it!

  • Kurt died a month before I was born. I'm seriously thinking about the possibility that a part of his soul reincarnated in me. Because everything he says is so true for me.

  • I love this guy soooo freakin' much, words can't even describe it, just everything he says I can relate to in some way. Rest in peace Kurt :'( xxxx

  • The main thing to come away from this video is a lesson to get/stay in touch with yourself and your emotions. why I talk to so many people all the time and the basis of the conversation is so shallow that it's difficult to really get to know people. like "hey, how are you" the typical response is "oh, I'm good..how are you? .. Good" so many people play it safe; so afraid of rejection or denial. What the fuck ever happened to honesty. R.I.P Kurt, for keepin it real

  • @drewbehr I have it. In my brain.

  • @OneLoveSmile I'm going to second what grungegopher told you here - neither Kurt nor Nirvana ever had anything to do with that song, ever. The confusion stems from the fact that STP recorded 2 different vocal versions of their song Creep - one for the album, and one for the single - and for whatever reason some people seem to think that 1 of those versions sounds like Cobain singing. But it isn't. Weiland sang both versions, and Robert De Leo wrote it. Hope this helps...

  • @SweetLilNibs Amen to that, nothing or no one could have saved him. He hated his fame but at the same time he wanted it and wanted not to be forgotten. Death immortalized him.

  • @Killerdoctor27 He had the stomach ailment for long time before he used heroin. It was the only thing that helped the pain

  • thats why i did drugs too.
