I was there that day, Was SO gutted to see Mick crash that I went and brought a mk3 Cortina and spent a year restoring it!! Hope to see Micks again one day! x

Gutted glad you got out sharpish though. Used to drool over that thing parked over by homebase. used to park nearby - looked like summat outta mad max, beutiful. Stopped parking there after me car got squashed by a homebase lorry ooooops lol. Anything else being built/been built.

I was running one of our drag scooters in that lane late in the day and as I crossed the line where the bank (acting as a wind break) ran out the scoot caught the cross wind and started to head shake. maybe a factor? glad to see the driver emerged ok.

Did you have a blow out Mick? We were on the grass on the other side and didn't see you get out. We were really worried til we got a phone call from our mate on the other side who said you'd got out.

glad you were okay Mick!!! i was stood over near the car stands but just hearing it was bad enough, amazed to see how quick you were out the car aswell
