Funny cat playing in water bowl

Water, water everywhere but nary a drop to drink. Ashley's waterpark, much to the dismay of the other cats. She doesn't stop til the bowl is empty.

She sure is. She empties the entire bowl in this video. The floor is swimming in water which is why the other cats are giving her a wide berth!

It's not so much that cats hate water, but more about their fear of the sound it makes.

I love you saying your cat drinks from the sink because 'she knows she's not supposed to climb up there' cause that's a cat's attitude EXACTLY! It's hard to resist letting them 'get away' with anything, so I just use a lot of cleaner on my counters before I ever fix any food or drink, and don't worry about it.

Your cat is cool! Put some water in the tub and some hard balls for him to play!

I spent big-o money on a Drinkwell water fountain for my 6 pack of catZ several years ago. Best $75 I've ever spent on them! They love the fresh filtered, running water and it makes them drink more for their best health. I only fill the 50 oz container every few days, then clean the whole thing and change the filter every other month. Sometimes I grow kitty grass in a container attached on the side too!

OMG How odd! Cats usually HATE water. The other cats look annoyed lol.

By the way, my cat (also a tortie) drinks from the sink too, but it's only because she knows she's not supposed to climb up there - not because she likes playing in water. :)
