I have no idea what Luke berto is saying aty the bottom of this page. This is not a rudiment, if that is what you are saying. Rudiments are different rhythmic beats, is the best I can explain it. Or patterns. If Eric Clapton plays certains licks in his solos, such as the same three or four notes on the 10th fret, that may be a rudiment. Ginger Baker best explained it in the Farewell Concert from 1968. He uses certains patters or progressions. This is clearly an exercise I will try someday.

"rudiments" is only a word! everything you practise can be your rudiment. I never said this was a rudiment... On the other hand if PAS put it on 40 rudiments 50 years ago, nobody would argue now about... what about the 128 hybrid rudiments?
