Blumberg, a pochi chilometri dal confine con la Svizzera, è situata verso l'estremità orientale della Foresta Nera meridionale.
A Blumberg Zollhaus c'è la stazione di partenza di una linea ferroviaria molto bella, chiamata Wutachtalbahn, ma meglio conosciuta come Sauschwänzlebahn che, tradotto letteralmente, significa "Ferrovia dalla coda di porco".
Tale nome è dovuto al fatto che per raggiungere il capolinea Weizen il treno percorre quasi il triplo dei 10 chilometri che lo separano in linea d'aria da Blumberg.
La Wutachtalbahn è quello che rimane del tratto intermedio di un'importante linea strategica costruita fra il 1887 e il 1890 per il trasporto di truppe tedesche al fronte in caso di guerra con la Francia senza dover passare attraverso la Svizzera.
Il percorso è molto articolato con numerosi tornanti, grandi viadotti, cinque gallerie tra le quali l'unica a spirale dell'intera Germania.
I treni turistici, trainati da locomotive a vapore, circolano abitualmente di sabato e domenica, da maggio fino a metà ottobre e in casi eccezionali anche durante la settimana.
Le riprese sono state effettuate domenica 21 agosto 2011 a Blumberg Zollhaus per il treno in partenza per Weizen e, per il convoglio nella sua corsa di ritorno, da un punto panoramico, un paio di chilometri a piedi dalla stazione di Blumberg, lungo il sentiero di 19 km noto come Eisenbahn Lehrpfad che, scendendo la Wutachtal, conduce verso Fützen e Weizen.
L'Eisenbahnmuseum, situato all'intero della Bahnhof Zollhaus viene aperto in concomitanza con l'arrivo e la partenza delle locomotive ed illustra la storia della ferrovia.

Blumberg,a few km far from the border between Germany and Switzerland, is in the eastern part of the Black Forest.
In Blumberg Zollhaus starts a very beautiful railway line, the Wutachtalbahn, also known as Sauschwänzlebahn (Railway line of the pig tail). This line is what survives of a strategic railway line built between 18887 and 1890, that should be used to trasport military troops and facilities in case of war to France,without passing through Switzerland. The line has got many bridges,hairpins and the only helical tunnel of Germany.
The touristic trains pulled by steam locos,run normally on saturdays and sundays from march to October,and sometimes in weekdays
The pictures were taken in Blumber Zollhaus on August 21st,2011 for the train leaving towards Weizen,and in a panoramic point 2 km away from Blumber for the train coming back.
the Eisenbahnmuseum in the Zollhaus station is opened when the trains leave and come back and shows the story of the railway line
