  • @cloudbuster77 i feel the same way... though in grant's defense, his legs are years younger than most 30 yr old RBs

  • @davedorgerI I doubt a back to back 1200 yard season rusher plays like that

  • @snubrocks why would you make a FB out of him when he has a 4.45 40-time, and the fact that the packers use the spread more than under center which green was practically BRED to run from spread formations. he will be a good 3rd down back and possibly a full time back in the future.

  • ok its safe to say jackson is gone, depending on how green's preseason is. grant and starks will be in a 2 back system, grant most likely getting the majority of the handoffs and starks thrown in primarily in running situations(he's more of a downhill runner and falls forward when being tackled) i really like green as a 3rd down back, and maybe in the future a full timer. 6' 225 lbs with a 4.45 40-time will help him greatly, if he stays healthy and progresses i think he can be good

  • @davedorger I might keep jackson over grant actually b/c he's such a great 3rd down back/blocker/catcher. I favor Starks, and probably Green, over Grant. Grant is injured and aging and RB's are done by 30.

  • @Ragnarok6688 When the O-line would open a huge hole, he would pop off a long run now and then. I think that padded his stats a bit. but a rbs greatest value to the team is blocking and getting key 3rd downs and Ive seen worse but ive seen better. Dont think the 42 million dollar man is worth the money. You have your opinion and I have mine. Cheers. Now if Green turns out to be a scrub im gonna look silly.

  • @davedorger From when he took over as the lead back for the packers through his week 1 injury, Grant was second to only Adrian Peterson in production. He's pretty good, whether you like it or not.

  • Looks like the guy just fell over more than the stiff arm. Packer fan since the 70's this guy looks like a great pick, sure like to make a FB out of 'em. If he's anything close to Steven Jackson, it was a steal.

  • @TheJacobsProductions Then, what if MCcarthy gives them 6 carries a game? Its a possibility. Then it makes no difference who we have and he's done it before with great success. In 2007, he made no attempt to run and yet, if not for a few bonehead plays, we would have been in the SB vs the Pats.

  • @davedorger I wouldn't cosider Grant that bad. If he can stay off the injury roster i'm sure they can use him.(Unless Green takes his job haha.) But yeah Starks will be interesting to see how he does this next season.
