Hello Shapland Sensei. I seen you last at the Tesshinkan weekend training back in 2003. I came with Brant Sensei and a couple of others from our Dojo. I think it was Karen Sensei from Hope who sent me a CD of that time but it never did open and I've never seen the video footage contained within, but thank you again for the wonderful time we spent.

Shinken Taira developed this kata en named it after his first name: Shinken Maezato.
I learned it from Kisho Inoue Hanshi in Utrecht (The Netherlands) about 6 years ago and before that from Wim van de Leur Shihan more than 10 years ago, who is my teacher.
