Barbaros's Land - Final Battle
1. Get behind the control panel, at the back of the ship.
2. Click on the cannon.
3. Aim at the missiles and shoot them with the A button. You can zoom in and out with the up and down buttons on the D-pad. Very handy.
4. Barbaros will shoot too many missiles to fend off. Luckily, Johnny activates the Bell Booster. Grab it.
5. Ring the Bell Booster as if ringing Wiki.
6. Barbaros will fire a fist. Simply press A to use the hand. Place the robot hand on top of the fist's cursor (or slightly inbetween the cursor and the fist) to block the attack.
7. The robot hand will grab the fist, throw it back at Barbaros like a paper airplane.
8. Barbaros will catch and keep shooting fists your way. Keep catching and sometimes throwing until Barbaros changes his strategy.
9. You can't possibly block two fists. Grab the anchor and throw it at Barbaros before he does another attack.
To throw the anchor, first swing it around like a lasso, and then suddenly stop, and point at the screen. (There's about a second of delay, so don't panic if it looks like it doesn't work at first.)
10. With one fist disabled, Barbaros can only shoot one at you. Block it.
11. At the second block, your robot hand will grab the fist again. Throw it at Barbaros again. He can't catch it this time, as his other fist is broken.
12. Barbaros will go back to his original strategy: shooting missiles.
While Barbaros is recharging, shoot him with the cannon until Johnny tells you you're out of ammo.
13. Press B to leave the panel.
14. Itemize two Goons.
15. Grab the Totems and load them in the ammo port.
16. Quickly go back to the control panel.
17. Grab the Bell Booster before Barbaros shoots.
18. Deflect his attack by ringing the Booster.
19. Leave the panel again and load in the last two Goons.
20. Quickly get behind the panel again.
21. Ring the Booster to prevent Barbaros from hitting you again.
22. Now that he's done shooting, it's your turn. Click on the cannon.
23. Aim at gun ports on Barbaros' ship's chest.
24. Shoot a Goon in each of the ports. If you misfire, don't worry, there will be another Totem waiting for you next to the control panel (somehow).
25. When all the gun ports have been plugged, wait for Barbaros to fire again. He'll destroy his own ship.
26. The head will detach itself from the rest of the ship, and charge up an extremely powerful beam attack! Quickly reel in the anchor.
27. Throw it at the ship's head the same way you threw it at its fist.
28. Reel in the anchor again.
29. After the next step, you're gonna need a Goon. Why don't you leave the control panel right now? It's safer.
30. Load in one (or more) Goon Totem.
31. Get back to the control panel.
32. Click on the ship's hat and lift it off.
33. The head will break the anchor and charge up another laser. Quickly hit Barbaros with a Goon Totem.
34. Grab the Bell Booster and ring it to itemize... the ship? Well, it's controlled by a brain, so I guess it's able to hear.
It's almost over, but not quite. You can figure out the final step yourself, but go watch part 2 anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JHDexB71gk

Oh great, even the final boss is Egyptian now!
And why is it a big robot, anyway? Pirates don't fly around in Egyptian robot ships!
Misplaced or not, it was an awesome boss.
i tried to beat barbaros over and over again i can but i just hate the lasso part

Took me some time to understand the mechanic. But it's easy once you've got it down.
I think my step 9 explains it pretty well:
"To throw the anchor, first swing it around like a lasso, and then suddenly stop, and point at the screen. (There's about a second of delay, so don't panic if it looks like it doesn't work at first.)"

And also, how many times did u die in the game altogether? I got more then 50 :P I even lost in the pit of tradgey more then once, thats because my screen was so dark, I couldn't see the chain-lever thingy. (I thought the screen was fine X__x) And like most of my deaths was from the sword fight with the Hench Mummies >__> to this day I still can't win, well I won like twice, but that was from luck, and trying 50 times, holding in my anger, not breaking my TV and the disk in two :O

Altogether? 71. But that's after I beat the game. When I beat the game it was 40.
I got no problem winning the sword fighting. I just got problem getting full HQ on it. Because it's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE.

The hardest part for me was the "Put the 4 goons in the rocket holes" I would always miss 1 hole, but i finally did it (once):P

You know the Goons respawn when you miss, right?
