  • Pete's vocal on this version is spine-chillingly stunning!

  • This is a glorious clip of The Who with a less known song that to me, is one of their best. I think this clip does the Who a bit of justice with the fact its all of the original, and an live interpretation that just... well, I need a ShamWow for my chair, thank you. :)

  • Gibson # 2

  • Hard Rock at its finest !!!!!! :D

  • One of my favorite songs ever!!

  • I was at this show, first concert held at the then brand new basketball stadium in Houston. The arena was one of the first to use jumbo video screens and cameras around the floor. Glad someone had the sense to say this footage. Great show, live straight ahead rock n roll. Moon was so confident in himself he didnt feel the need for a drum riser.

  • @lwplwp I saw that tour, too. @ The Cow Palace in San Fran. Keith passed out at his drum kit. Lynyrd Skynyrd was great. First time I ever saw an opening act get called back for an encore... (Free Bird)

  • Their aura's are beautiful :)

  • @saimon1969 It was greatness.....Gave me a real appreciation for Quadrophenia. The back up band was Lynard Skynard doing their first US tour.....We had heard one song by them on the radio (Simple Man) that day....So the very first time I heard Free Bird was live as an encore....It was quite a show.....Lynard Skynard was good but the Who of course were better.

  • @lwplwp Really ?? How was it ???

  • Surprisingly good video quality for the age of this. I saw somebody post that this was on the Who's Next album... No - No it wasn't on the original release of Who's Next... That album has been remastered at least twice that I know of... It was on the original Odds and Sods album which has also been remastered a couple of times as well...
