The Paramount 3/32 requires Hauptwerk Organ software. There are moments when sounds played from the middle keyboard (the Great Manual) continue to play after the keys are released. This is accomplished by a Great Sostenuto footswitch thereby allowing the organist to free his hand to play on another keyboard. This feature was used extensively near the beginning of this piece and during the trumpet solo.
