  • hey I was wondering if you had to go to therapy before going on testosterone and if you did, how long was the process?

  • @XxHeavellxX To get a script for T you need to have therapy I don't know of any doctor that would just give a script for T without some sort of therapy.

  • @Wesleyintheory i haven't heard of a doc who didn't want at least some documentation that the person has sought medical advice in a therapy-like atmosphere before starting T, but it varies on how much/what type of therapy doctors require

  • @XxHeavellxX i had been voluntarily in therapy for a few years--- i didn't have to make any significant changes or do anything differently to get my T rx. She just wanted to make sure i had a medical support system and i was serious.

  • This is GREAT info! I really appreciate you sending the message!

  • @westonfiles you bet

  • @sneetchinflux Thanks so much.

  • @sneetchinflux Yep that is the same thing I said. A doc will want some type of letter. For me I guess I was "lucky" I only had to go to 3 sessions with my therapist and he gave me the letter. then i had to wait 3 months to see the endo to get the T

  • @Popeslave good to know! thanks man

  • @awarenessable not that i know of, but they're REALLY good at answering their phones-- no auto systems.

  • Do they have an e-Mail?

  • Awesome! Strohecker's is also a good one, although a few bucks more with shipping. 59.95 I think, incl. shipping, and they send tips & syringes free last I checked. stroheckersrx [dot] com
