I went to Musicians Institute of Technology in Hollywood California in 1988-1989. I was there to study bass guitar but since I had just started playing harp, I ended up forming a harp band because I met some great musicians from Germany, fellow students that I could create some unique music with. I had just come from being in heavy metal bands, playing bass and harp, so this was more progressive pop/rock. We called ourselves "Bigger Than Blue" So here is one of our earliest live videos. Myself on Celtic harp, Marcus Deml on guitar, Markus Binapfl on drums, (who I was totally, painfully, head over heels in love with..) and I forgot the bass players name! Sorry nice bass player. Anyway, here we are.. It's unfortunate that I had not yet discovered hair mousse.. I think it hadn't been invented yet. But these are good memories. This song was called "One of a Kind" and that for sure, we were.
Very cool, I was searching for "harp rock" and I found that, I liked it so much. Congratulations!
