@alex45632759781432 He doesn't palm mute, he doesn't mute with any part of his picking hand at all lol He uses his spare fingers on his fretting hand to control the string noise playing live and in the studio he often puts a hair band over the first fret (I saw that in a megadeth dvd with studio footage).
