Ha ha ! top right it says the Godfathers are playing The Scala on 15th December. Sadly they're not. But if you want a night of drum n bass and old skool rave then don't let me stop you.

I saw the Godfathers open up for Love and Rockets about 20+ years ago. Went out and bought More Songs About Love and Hate the next day. Cassette is long done and can't find it on CD/iTunes. Would love to have that album again.

Well they weren't huge because the timing wasn't right. It was between metal and grunge so them and the Lime Spiders (which also peaked then - late 80s) it just wasn't IT! for the (stoopid) general public. Ok answer 3 years later? ;)

RIght....they should have had the fame that some lesser bands had...I have no idea why it didn't happen for them in a really big way, though they are well respected with a solid fan base.
