Khamoshi - The Musical (Sat, May 17, 8 PM)

Its a blockbuster weekend with the superhit 'Khamoshi -- The Musical' debuting on 'Saturday Blockbusters', at 8 PM on FILMY. This critically acclaimed film, stars stalwarts of the industry like Nana Patekar and Seema Biswas alongside Manisha Koirala and Salman Khan with a special role by yesteryear siren Helen.




Goa based Joseph Braganza (Nana Patekar) and his wife Flavy (Seema Biswas) are devout Catholics, and are both deaf and mute. They live with their children, Annie (Manisha Koirala) and their son Sam, both of whom are able to hear and speak. After an unfortunate accident where Sam loses his life, the couple's dependence on Annie as their link with the world becomes even stronger. As Annie grows up, she takes to music and singing, and then meets Raj (Salman Khan) with whom she falls in love. However, turmoil and crisis strikes the family as Joseph violently dislikes Raj, due to his religion and also because he thinks that Raj is going to take Annie away from them, and thus their link with the rest of the world.
