@FrsBigeasy But if you ask me, he is underestimated as president. And thats because of history. Jimmy Carter didnt fire a bullet or missil, during his presidency. In 1980 the debt was 1 trill. dollars. Remember, he was running neck and neck with Reagan, until the last week. He actually put solar panels on the white house that Reagan took off.

Carter was against infation (the printing of money or QE2 as they call it these days) and against war. So the "Warmongers" hung him to dry right after he sold the AWACS to the Saudi's. That enraged the Zionist Warmongers and they decided to print, print, print.

To say that the Economy was sound in 1979 one of the worst years America has ever had Economically. When the Economy was already slowing down in 1978. Shows americans that Jimmy Carter was out of touch.

This speech shows me how out of touch Jimmy Carter was as President. To say that the economy was sound, I just don't know where he gets that. This speech was given in Jan or Feb 1979 but the economy was already showing signs of weakness by early-mid 1978 when Inflation, Interest Rates & Unemployment started to rise.
