"We Are Not Begging for Aid" - Chief Bolivian Negotiator Says Developed Countries Owe Climate Debt
One of the countries leading the call for just climate reparations here at the COP15 talks is Bolivia. We speak with Bolivias chief climate negotiator, Angelica Navarro. Twenty percent of the population have actually emitted more than two-thirds of the emissions. And as a result, they have caused more than 90 percent of the increase in temperatures, Navarro says. We are not begging for aid; we want developed countries to comply with their obligation and pay their debt. [includes rush transcript]

  • WHAT ABOUT A BULLET IN YOUR HEAD . AND EVERY OTHER GOVERNMENT

  • how about you go and get fucked crazy women, we dont owe you shit.

  • Okay, then we have nothing to argue about. But I do think you're wrong, CO2 has been going up and it's not good.

  • how come every single planet has increased in temperature, by equal proportions to earth. its basic science how do u think the ice age happened? temperatures have constantly been changing throughout history, its not do to c02. that being said the solution is the same, helping the environment regardless of global warming. global warming is just incorrect science.

  • You're nuts!

  • one of the best strategies proposed for working within the system

  • global warming isnt real..... look up both sides of the debate and form ur own conclusions please. the carbon tax is part of e new world orders agenda.....

  • Yes, corporations need to be responsible and the governments of each of those countries that take payola to allow those corporations to pollute their own countries. Those countries government should take those corporation heads to court.

Dont worry about what the U.S. thinks, do what is best for the citizens of those countries but don't expect our people to pay other countries for corporations pollution. No monies this time.

  • This is part 2 but it is titled part 1

  • don't you mean force the corpations. That is what a responsible government should do. Corpations that create this damge only care about profit and will not pay for the damage unless they are forcedby a responsible government.
