Prohobition created Capone and Luciano and all others; but end of prohobition did not get rid of them. On the contrary, they were more powerful than ever; practically ruling the country. Like wise, I don't think end of drug war and legalization of illegal drugs will stop or even slow down drug cartels. Genie is out of the bottle now.
@SmallFries01 Cheap stuff from the us coming to latin america, forcing farmers to grow drugs to sell. thats how NAFTA has worked out. Read propaganda and the public mind for instance, Im sure theres more.
only if they commit acts of terrorism, and I would definitely consider murdering people and hanging them up with threatening signs an act of terrorism
@PaleoNychus What I'm trying to get across is that it is no longer his wife, his wife is no longer existent, depending on how far the condition has progressed. That's the only reason (and bc no measure to reverse the condition is available) why I say that it is morally questionable to force anyone, let alone a non-professional, to take care of her.
Um, I do oppose his superstition and religion but what does that have to do with this situation.
And doesn't my opinion have a basis in reality as well.
One of my aunts had Alzheimer's and her husband didn't leave her.
In the case of my grandma, she received the worse care in a nursing home because she couldn't walk (she had MS). My mom took care of her and my grandpa until they died a few years ago.
I don't care what the man's religion is, but I think he's abandoning his wife.

Here's the problem, accepting the incompetence & institutional narrow-mindedness of the FBI, they are faced with an enemy that ideologically determined to subvert peaceful Islam & radicalize ordinary muslims through indoctrination, to carry out attacks on US soil. That's a given. Where should they look for such individuals? In synagogs? In Methodist Churches? The moon? They have to look for them where they operate. It's irresponsible & dangerously naive to make a racial issue about the obvious.
One group of people elects a Man to restrict the usage of a certain chemical by other groups of people. How is that constitutional? End the war on drugs. Whoever wants to use drugs will use them no matter what.
Choose fromONLY one of two motives from someone trying to debunk the things I -and MANY like me- advocate regarding the well-being of the future of our world: You're very well served by the status-quo of today's environment and don't WANT to see the erosion of human rights,or you are are an active participant in the oppression of peoples.I think every person has a right to choose,a right to worship (or not) who they wish, maximize one's station in life so long as to not cause neglect for others
I'm happy for you. Here in America we don't have it quite so good, but some of us are working on peaceful solutions to try and have education and healthcare removed from the private sector. They are not theories. Were it not for selective medicine, the suppression of cures to many of the world's most widespread diseases, the world's population could very well be at 15 billion. Not that we NEED any more people in the world. The way we approach the near future will determine if we HAVE a Future.

Stealing a line from The Office: I've pretty much given up on Obama doing the right thing, or the decent thing, or even the comprehensible thing.

I really like this shirt and jacket combination. Honestly, the MSNBC format diminished Cenk. The Young Turks rule!

I would love to see one of the republican candidates try to explain how their policies are compatible with the graphs at 15:05.

When he say the top 0.1% pay less taxes than the low and middleclass... he doesn't mean in dollars, but rather percentage of their income/capital?
